Job Description

Qualifications:
 
- Experience Range- 8 to 10
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in an Agile environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
 
Responsibilities:
 
- Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Work closely with product owners and development teams to ensure clear understanding of goals and deliverables.
- Facilitate the removal of impediments and promote continuous improvement.
- Track project progress and manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals by coordinating with stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management.
- Mentor and coach teams on Agile practices to enhance their efficiency and productivity.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Agile Principles and Practices:

  • Has in-depth knowledge and experience of Agile principles and practices.
  • Able to teach, mentor, and coach others on Agile and its applications in Scrum.

Scrum Framework:

  • Have good understanding of the scrum framework.
  • Able to apply the Scrum framework in real-life projects, and facilitate Scrum events effectively, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Facilitation:

  • Has good understanding of facilitation skills and techniques.
  • Able to facilitate Scrum events effectively, such as by using visual aids, asking open-ended questions, and promoting collaboration and engagement among team members.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Has good knowledge of continuous improvement concepts.
  • Able to identify improvement opportunities and implement changes effectively, such as by conducting retrospectives, analyzing data, and experimenting with new practices and tools.
