Job description:

 

We are looking for a hands-on SFMC professional to support a US-based client. The role demands independent ownership of journey design, build, and testing within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, along with audience segmentation in Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360). The candidate will work directly with client stakeholders, so strong communication and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are non-negotiable.

Shift: US West Coast hours — 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST



Key Responsibilities
•       Journey Execution: Understand journey requirements from client teams, translate them into SFMC Journey Builder configurations, and own end-to-end testing & deployment
•       Audience Segmentation: Build and manage audience segments in Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) to power journey activations — including filter logic, data validation, and segment QA
•       Client Interaction: Independently participate in client calls, walk through journey logic, present test results, raise blockers, and align on timelines — without needing hand-holding
•       Troubleshooting: Debug journey failures, data sync issues, and segment mismatches across SFMC and Data Cloud; drive resolution with minimal escalation
•       Documentation: Maintain clear records of journey specs, segment definitions, test cases, and known issues for client and internal visibility

Required Skills & Experience
•       2–4 years of direct, hands-on experience with SFMC Journey Builder, including multi-step, decision-split, and API-event-triggered journeys
•       Working knowledge of SFMC Email Studio, Automation Studio, and basic AMPscript/SQL for data extensions and personalization
•       Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud / CDP — specifically audience segmentation, calculated insights, or activation targets (strong plus)
•       Proven ability to work independently in a client-facing capacity — comfortable leading requirement discussions, demos, and status updates with US-based teams
•       Strong analytical and QA mindset — someone who catches edge cases before the client does
•       Excellent verbal and written communication in English; confident on video calls
•       Must be willing to work US West Coast shift hours consistently

Good to Have
•       Experience in insurance/life sciences commercial or marketing operations
•       Familiarity with Veeva CRM, marketing consent frameworks, or healthcare data regulations
•       Prior experience working in a consulting or managed services delivery model
