Role Overview:

The SAP FICO Senior Consultant will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) solutions to support business processes. The role involves client engagement, requirement gathering, solution architecture, and ensuring successful delivery across SAP projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
  •  Conduct business requirement workshops and translate them into functional specifications.
  •  Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, COPA, and Product Costing).
  •  Integrate FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR).
  •  Design and validate financial process flows and reporting structures.
  •  Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliation and reporting.
  •  Provide functional guidance to consultants and review deliverables.
  •  Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and statutory regulations.
  •  Prepare detailed project documentation and functional design specifications.
  •  Conduct user training and manage UAT activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems (MBA preferred).
  •  Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations.
  •  Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, controlling, and cost management.
  •  Proficiency in integration with SD, MM, and other SAP modules.
  •  Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (preferred).
  •  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  •  Ability to lead teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
  •  Experience with SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Advanced Financial Closing Cockpit.
  •  Exposure to automation tools or RPA in finance processes.
  •  SAP Certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance.
