Sr. Software Engineer - Data Migration Job

Experience:  4 to 6 years 

Location: Pune_Magarpatta

No. of Positions: 1

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in data migration, data integration, and ETL processes
• Strong experience in AWS Glue, Python, Pyspark and Postgres SQL
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, Glue, S3, CloudWatch
• Good understanding of SQL and database management
• Experience in data validation, transformation, and performance testing
• Exposure to API integrations and microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of JDF portfolio management and accounting
• Experience in creating functional and technical documentation
• Exposure to enterprise-scale data migration projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and design data migration strategies
• Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Maintain documentation for migration processes and workflows
• Provide production support for migration-related issues
• Continuously improve migration processes and tools

Education:

Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
