Sr. Test Engineer - Web API Job

Job description:

Skill Set Required :

• 4–6 years of experience in software testing with strong focus on automation for Web and API applications
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright for UI and API automation
• Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript with good understanding of asynchronous programming and JavaScript libraries
• Experience testing Micro-Frontend architectures, including SPA shells, independently deployed MFEs, cross-MFE navigation, routing, and integration validation
• Strong experience in RESTful API testing with exposure to gRPC services
• Hands-on experience with API functional testing, schema validation, authentication/authorization, and service-level testing
• Experience with load and performance testing using k6 and/or JMeter, including load, stress, and endurance testing
• Good understanding of Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Test Plans,  Virtual Machines, Docker, and API Management
• Strong experience creating and maintaining YAML-based CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Hands-on exposure to GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD integration
• Experience designing, implementing, or enhancing automation frameworks
• Ability to understand automation requirements and derive effective test scenarios
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to debug and perform root cause analysis across UI, API, micro-frontends, infrastructure, and pipelines
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong collaboration skills
• Good to have experience in the Oil & Gas domain and enterprise-scale platforms
