What should you have?

  • Must have experience in Desktop virtualization technologies (AWS Workspaces, Azure Windows Virtual Desktop, Citrix XenDesktop).
  • Experience in Application virtualization (AWS AppStream, Citrix Virtual Apps, Microsoft App-V).
  • Must have experience in Operating system management technologies, license/subscription management, automation & scripting technologies.
  • Strong background in Active Directory policy management.
  • Excellence in verbal and written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact & negotiation.
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork, mentoring, and influencing skills to drive practices within the team.
  • Good Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
  • Good understanding of Cloud VDI's, formation templates, Jenkins & Github.
  • Demonstrated passion for technical learning and identifying areas for innovation.
  • Experience working in an Agile and/or Lean + ITIL environment.


What will you do?

  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve Incidents related to VDI, OS, software & applications utilizing technical skills & knowledgebase documentation.
  • Perform VDI provisioning & request fulfillment (Service Request management).
  • Create, deploy, and maintain workstation images, seeking to automate and streamline operational tasks whenever possible.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the business users and interact professionally with all levels of business users.
  • Participates in the design, development, and support activities in the VDI engineering space that enables a simple and positive user experience.
  • For any P1/P2 incidents, 24/7 on-call Availability to help restore the service & you should be flexible towards working hours during a busy periods.
  • Performs root cause analysis as needed for end user-related issues.
  • Develop & maintain installation, configuration, and security procedures.
  • Explore automation opportunities around areas of VDI/OS Deployment, Migrations, Request Fulfillment, and any other areas to improve efficiency.
