Job Description:

 

Experience required: 5-7 years

 

Operation Engineer

 Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud (Azure, AWS preferred) & On-prem Infrastructure Management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements
  • Monitor and analyze cloud & On-prem resource usage patterns, identifying opportunities to optimize costs and resource allocation
  • Understand and support applications built on Java, SQL, ActiveMQ, Enterprise Bus technologies

 

 Deployment and Automation

  • Maintain and fix CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and updates (Gitlab / Jenkins)
  • Preferred SQL scripting, jobs, optimal querying, working with relational database.
  • Knowledge of different types of integrations Rest API, Mulesoft, Kafka

 Operational Support

  • Support the Global and Local business units in complex and often cross-technology troubleshooting, on-site and remotely
  • Hands on technical troubleshooting, proven experience in working with tickets incident, problem, change & request enduring to meet SLA and KPIs
  • Provide L2 and Preliminary L3 support for cloud-related incidents and problems, resolving issues on-time to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other teams to resolved incidents and respond to stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of architecture, configurations, and runbooks
  • Hands on working on ticketing tools (SNOW, Jira)

 

  • Education & Experience
  • University degree in Information technology, engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in supporting distributed solutions
  • Experience and knowledge on working in a Lean & Agile team

  • Cloud certified (Azure / AWS)
  • Knowledge of On-Prem infrastructure / network connectivity
  • Handled Java based applications / ActiveMQ
  • Python / PowerShell scripting knowledge

Know / how of different types of integrations Rest API, Mulesoft, Kafka
