Job Descripion:
Experience required: 5-7 years.
Required Skill Sets for the “Sr.Accessibility Tester “ position:
- Perform web content and mobile accessibility validations against WCAG 2.1/2.2 level AA standards
- Hands-on experience on the assistive technologies like JAWS, NVDA, Voice Over and TalkBack
- Good understanding of various accessibility standards and laws
- Collaborate with development and design teams to make recommendations to meet accessibility guidelines and provide remediation steps when not compliant
- Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners to understand accessibility requirements, implementation details to come up with a detailed accessibility test plan and test strategies.
- Conduct defect triage meetings with the project stakeholders and suggest potential solution for accessibility barriers
- Develop comprehensive accessibility compliance test reports for web and mobile
- Should possess certifications like IAAP – WAS, CPACC, Trusted Tester Web
- Good knowledge on WAI-ARIA attributes
- Exposure on various accessibility assessments like Wireframe review, component testing, automation testing capabilities etc.,
