Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
  

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable automation frameworks and a solid foundation in functional testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern automation tools and programming languages and be capable of working independently while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Analyze requirements and identify, design, and execute functional and automation test cases.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Playwright, Cucumber, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Conduct API testing and API automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Identify edge cases, defects, and risk areas through thorough test case design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing coverage and quality standards.
• Manage test artifacts including test cases, test data, and results.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of deliverables.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in automation framework design and development.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Playwright
• Cucumber (BDD framework)
• Solid understanding of functional testing principles and test case design techniques.
• Experience in API testing and automation.
  

Strong knowledge of:

• Test case creation and execution
• Identifying edge case scenarios
• Defect tracking and reporting
• Good understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in CI/CD integration for automation pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
