Requirements : 

We’re looking for an experienced In app Content writer who is passionate about user experience design and wants to help shape the development of Client digital solutions. The role will be writing for new customer-facing features, as well as maintaining existing user interface copy. They will primarily work alongside designers, collaborating to create copy resulting in amazing user experiences. They will also team with engineers, analysts, product owners, marketers and others to ensure a successful product for both our business and our customers.

The ideal candidate traits

Someone who loves words and language, and has strong feelings about style, grammar, tone and voice. The only thing that rivals their passion for language is the passion for great user experiences. They must be good with documentation of their work in a clear and concise way. They should take initiative and be good at identifying what information is needed to do their job, and are not shy about reaching out to people they don’t know yet to get the answers. They take initiative and feel a strong sense of ownership, not just for their deliverables, but for the quality of the entire product. Should be open to work in hours to accommodate UX leads in the team and on a need basis with stakeholders on-site.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Technology, Engineering courses or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear and concise content across multiple touch points (including labels, navigational elements, dialog boxes, menus, email templates, tutorials, notifications).

• Drive consensus across teams and advocate for solutions that balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.

• Ensure consistency is maintained across the application.

• Review business requirements to create copy that fits.

• Participate in the product development process to ensure the design is intuitive.

• Conduct competitor analysis and user research to inform content strategy.

• Optimize and refine existing copy based on changing requirements.

• Create and maintain a content style guide and rationale documentation for in-app content standards.

Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in UX writing.

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

• Working knowledge of UX and digital content principles.

• (Preferred) Basic knowledge of Figma.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards

• (Preferred) Experience working with B2B and construction/mining/Energy & Transportation industries.

• Experience with wireframes or functional specs is a plus
