Job Title:

IT Project Manager with Strong Business Analysis Background (SDLC + AI-Driven Development)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead software development initiatives with a strong emphasis on business analysis. The role focuses on delivering value through effective SDLC governance and enabling teams to leverage AI tooling to improve productivity and quality. The ideal candidate combines excellent project leadership with robust requirements analysis and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT/software development projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.
• Define and manage project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders; translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Use business analysis techniques to elicit, document, and validate requirements; create clear functional specifications, data models, and process flows.
• Oversee project artifacts (BRDs, FRDs, use cases, user stories, workflows) with traceability to business objectives.
• Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, AI tooling specialists, QA, and operations; optimize resource allocation and performance.
• Ensure SDLC adherence with a focus on AI-enabled development: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Act as a Scrum Master or agile project lead where appropriate; facilitate sprint ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; manage changes with governance and clear escalation paths.
• Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and communicate status, milestones, risks, and dependencies transparently.
• Drive quality assurance through test planning, automation strategy, and acceptance criteria aligned with business value. 
  
   
  
  Qualifications:
   
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager delivering software-enabled initiatives, with a strong emphasis on business analysis. 
  
• Deep knowledge of SDLC and experience managing AI-enabled development practices (without requiring AI/ML technical depth).
• Strong background in business analysis: requirements elicitation, modeling, documentation, and analysis; ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project) and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization. 
  
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or equivalent practical BA experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced IT environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI services relevant to project delivery.
