Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer with strong expertise in ETL development, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and SAS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing data processing solutions, ensuring the smooth execution of critical business operations, particularly during month-end closing activities. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively absorb and transfer knowledge, and the capability to work in a fast-paced production support environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines.
Develop and support complex SQL and PL/SQL programs for data integration, transformation, and reporting.
Utilize Python and SAS for data processing, automation, analysis, and operational support.
Provide production support for critical business processes and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Support month-end and period-end business operations, ensuring data accuracy and system availability.
Conduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions and effectively understand, document, and transition processes from existing teams.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Monitor data quality, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement preventive measures.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and mentor junior team members as required.
